## Ecosystem Token - zTURT

**Zombie Turtle Island** will launch a token called **zTURT**, short for **Zombie Turtle Token**, as the main token of value for governance and shareholding for the platform and organization. This token will have a limited supply and will be extremely hard to earn as the games/development progresses.

It can be staked on the platform or sold to the liquidity provider. Eventually, we will list this on major **Centralized Exchanges** to drive more users and value to the ecosystem.

Staking the token, will give you a **shareholder status**. That being said, all income earned through sales transactions of the game, merchandises sold, and fees for minting **NFT Heroes** will funnel through to provide some very generous rewards for our shareholders. All Stakes will be locked for 30 days before it can be withdrawn.

Before launching the **NFT Hero minting** feature, we plan to reward our shareholders by **airdropping Generation Zero Heroes** with unique skills/abilities to 1000 lucky holders. These **Heroes** are **Non Fungible Tokens** that will have a **store of value** when the game launches. Every 5,000 **zTURT** that you own will add additional entries and give you a higher chance to own one of these **Heroes**. The **Founder Wallets** will be excluded.

## Utility/Game Currency Token - ztCOIN

When the team launches the game/metaverse, **ztCOIN**, short for **Zombie Turtle Island Coin**, will be the **in-game currency**. **ztCOIN** will power game play in the metaverse and will also act as the major contributing factor for Play-to-earn. **The only way to earn ztCOIN is by playing the game.**

An advantage that **ztCOIN** offers over **zTURT** is that it allows players to mint **NFT items** and resources, which can be listed and sold in the **player-to-player Free Market Place** for the chain's native token, ie **ETH**.

There will not be an official **DEX** pair for **ztCOIN.** Any pairs listed will likely be created by players or users and my not have sufficient liquidity, so trade with caution.

When the game launches, the game will only provide a swap tool called the **zTURT Mint Protocol** for players to swap their **ztCOIN** for **zTURT,** and vice-versa. The ratio will start at **1,000,000** **ztCOIN** to **1 zTURT**, and will use the same formula as **Uniswap**.

## zTURT Tokenomics

**Max Supply:** 100,000,000 **zTURT**

**Initial Supply At Launch:** 50,000,000 **zTURT**

* **48.5% or 48,500,000** **zTURT** allocated for **Liquidity pool on a DEX.**
* **11% or 11,000,000 zTURT** is allocated to the founders and development. **1,000,000 zTURT** will be minted at initial launch to reward founders for providing funding and designing the project. **10,000,000** **zTURT** will be locked up until the game is ready. This portion can only be minted when players start earning.
* **5.5% or 5,500,000** **zTURT** is allocated for airdrops and marketing. **500,000** **zTURT** will minted at launch to provide initial marketing and airdrop incentives. **5,000,000** **zTURT** will be locked up until the game is ready. This portion can only be minted when players start earning.
* **35% or 35,000,000 zTURT** is allocated for in-game play-to-earn. Players will earn **ztCOIN** first, then they can swap to mint **zTURT**.

**At Game launch:** the **35,000,000 zTURT** that were locked up from in-game allocation along with **35,000,000,000,000 ztCOIN** will be allocated to the **zTURT Mint Protocol contract** to provide liquidity for this swap feature. Although, it is considered a swapping mechanism, we will refer to it as, **"minting,"** for sanity sake.

**How zTURT Gets Minted:**

* **zTURT** can only be minted when players earn the **in-game ztCOIN** tokens and swaps it for **zTURT** on the **zTURT Mint Protocol**. This uses a swap contract that is similar to **Uniswap** but without fees.
* For every **1** **zTURT** that is **"minted"** on the **protocol**, **0.10** **zTURT** is also minted from the founders' escrow to reward the **founders**, and another **0.05** **zTURT** will be minted to cover development and marketing. This portion will be minted from the market/airdrop escrow.

**Utility:**

* Provides **Governance** and **voting points** for stakeholders to steer the direction of the game and project.
* Activates **stakeholder status** by staking to earn platform revenue.
* Can be converted to **in-game curency ztCOIN** at any point after game launches.

## **ztCOIN** Tokenomics

**Max Supply:** Unlimited

**Initial Supply At Game Launch:** **Only 35,000,000,000,000** **ztCOIN** will be pre-minted and added to the **zTURT Mint Protocol** so that if users wish to swap their **zTURT** to **ztCOIN** they can do so.

**How to attain ztCOIN:**

* Just simply play the game and you will earn **ztCOIN** at a fair and gradual pace.
* You can also attain **ztCOIN** at launch when the **zTURT Mint protocol** is ready. The protocol allows you to swap from **zTURT** to **ztCOIN** .
* The difficulty of earning **ztCOIN** will increase as **circulation supply increases.**
* **For every 1,000,000,000 ztCOIN in circulation supply, the difficulty increases by 10%.** This excludes the initial value that was put into the **zTURT Mint Protocol.**

**Utility:**

* **In-game** currency
* Mint **Items** and **resources**
* **Upgrade** and **leveling** up **Heroes**
* Mints **zTURT** by swapping
