# How to Earn

## <mark style="color:blue;">Buy zTURT</mark>

**zTURT** is our ecosystem token that powers the entire platform from the top down.  It is essentially owning a share of this community driven project. &#x20;

There are several streams of revenue for owning **zTURT**. &#x20;

1. **zTURT Buy backs** driven by the minting of **Hero NFTs** and fees from the **player to player Free Market**.  The buy back protocol buys and burns **zTURT**.  This will essentially drive the price up, and gives you a chance to profit from selling after a long hold. &#x20;
2. **Activate Shareholder Status**:  You can activate your shareholder status by staking the token in the platform.  All revenue driven from the minting of **Hero NFTs** and fees collected via **Free Market**, will be shared with you proportional to the amount of shares you own. &#x20;
   * **For Example**:  If minting a **NFT Hero** cost $30 and today we had 10,000 **NFTs** that were minted, that is a total of $300,000.&#x20;
   * 20% of that ($60k) would be donated to the [**Sea Turtle conservancy**](https://conserveturtles.org/) organization.&#x20;
   * 20% ($60k) would be allocated to buy back **zTURT** from the **DEX**. &#x20;
   * 60% ($180K) would be shared with all the Shareholders.  For example, if you owned 10% of the shares, you would have made $18k in one day. &#x20;
   * We have not even counted the **Free Market Fees** either. &#x20;

## <mark style="color:blue;">Mint Hero and Start Playing</mark>

The easiest way to earn is by simply **minting your NFT Heroes and start playing**.

1. **Invest time into playing** your Heroes to power and level them up.  This will drive their value. &#x20;
2. Play your heroes to **craft and forge unique Items** that can be sold to other players. &#x20;
3. **Collect resources** to forge items or sell your resources to others. &#x20;
4. Earn **ztCOIN** by doing menial tasks like fighting mobs, doing quests, running dungeons, etc.  Then you can mint **zTURT** by swapping your **ztCOIN** and become a Shareholder. &#x20;
